Looking forward to your update.
I didn't find any videos on it yet, just a few instagram pictures. No closeups, but the people who got them were happy and didn't see any immediate flaws.

As for any roasting, I can probably imagine the other reviewer you're referring to, but this site has more than its share of wanna-be bullies. I remember years ago I posted an idea if people wanted to see status of the Phoenix Five on the Sideshow Forum. The responses I got were disgusting.
People like that, their opinion is pretty much the equivalent of Casey Anthony running a Day Care

Mine arrived today. Going into this purchase I had really low expectations for this piece. Honestly I ended up liking it. I did have to fidget a bit with the head before it would successfully light up. However, there is a paint QC issue with the flesh portions of the portrait. It has black paint speckles in that area that look odd.

Just unboxed mine. I couldn’t find any QC issues but the face is as ugly as everyone else’s. Light up works. #112 of 400

Not doing the blue eyes is a bit of a ---- up isn't it. Also if you want a Subzero statue that isn't this pick up the MK9 Exclusive, it's absolute gem of a statue, seriously underrated.

Totally agree, the base is better, more beautiful, the ice is translucid, the skin is better too, much better by the way... and it looks more like classic sub zero, with blue mask, this have a black one, and the blue on the cloth is too dark, sub zero in mkx is not so good imo
I think in the end the old Sub Zero ends up being the better of both
