I contacted them out of curiosity and got this message:

"Thanks for contacting Sideshow Support.

Due to the size of this item, along with it being a multi-box shipment, has unfortunately caused a large increase in the shipping cost. Please note that the $200 shipping price is discounted further than the rate that we will pay the shipping carrier to deliver your item.

Please let me know if you have any other questions."

Considering people here have gotten Zodd, a bigger statue, for a smaller shipping price. I call bull.

I think they have increased the shipping for the Guyvers as well, Guyver 0 shipping now is more than Guyver 1 was and they are both the same size.

Seems to be mostly prime 1 stuff that are seeing these big increases. The sideshow stuff available on the site all has what I would consider “normal” shipping rates.

Maybe it's just my paranoia but I think the relationship between p1 and sideshow is probably souring even more I just cannot logically understand why there's such a drastic increase in shipping costs.
