Regular. The Ex could have an edition size of 10 and I wouldn't buy it.

That purchase decision alone should disqualify you from this conversation.
Just kidding, I actually agree, while I am selling both http://statueforum.com/showthread.php?t=111832 (shameless self promotion I know) I much prefer the reg. The mech, while it does have a lower edition size, just isn't zang! He isn't even from a street fighter game, he's from marvel vs capcom! Plus the paint job on the reg is pretty good with the shading IMO

Actually I didn't get it but i'd rather have Venomsaurus than the Zangief Ex :tounge:
The Reg Zangief is brilliant, one of the best in the line.

I personally like Mecha Zangief.
I guess it really depends on your collection, but If you get the MZ you will need to get a regular in the future too

True but the Mech in SSF4 isn't really the Mecha that we're talking about, he's just Zang in a metal suit

I have both and the regular one is definately better. The paintjob on the reg is much much better than the paintjob on the EX.
Hope I could help you.

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

definitely the regular. there's so much more detail in the reg vs the mecha. plus there are so many broken regs that for all we know could be the same amount circulating out there as the mecha.
