Looks pretty good. I'm just finding it tough to get excited about these characters before seeing the movie.

I guess the old style statues (I think they were 1/7 scale) are dead forever at this point. Too bad. The Royal Guard, the first Boba Fett, the Maul's, the ROTS clone and the 2nd Anakin are in my lineup and they're just fantastic. Perfect size and price. I know people hate the fact that they're vinyl or plastic, but for the masked characters, there was none better. I'd love to see Phasma and Kylo Ren done that way.

I pre-ordered this. The only other SW Koto I have is Jango. I guess they will go well together with their metallic armour!

I wouldn't' the possibility of a 1/7 scale down the line at some point. Right now the 1/10 ArtFX+ seems to be Koto's bread and butter right now as these are more affordable and in general the Japanese like smaller scale collectibles. But I would think that they would still do 1/7 of the more popular characters.

There was some negative stigma associated with the vinyl figures as Koto was a new brand in the US and some other brands vinyl figures tended to droop, have obvious seam lines and/or get sticky. But have a half a dozen of their 1/7 Star Wars troopers and they are all great. Only wished that they got to Commander Gree before stopping. Their bounty hunters from ESB were also awesome but I didn't get those due to space limitations.

It might be worth asking Koto if 1/7 is still in their plans.

Right on. I do not understand people who preorder this before seeing the movie. Hype really works miracles.

I'm not buying it because of what he/she does in the film. I'm buying it for the love of the character. Boba Fett does sod all in the 20 minutes that he appears on screen, yet has one of the biggest following in the SWU
