Just finished the series. I loved the finale. While he could have gotten away with murder (and so many other things), I think he was finally done. He loved Kim above all. He always did and has. I think he also always felt horrible guilt about Charles.
Also, how could you not love him going to jail but clearly gonna be running that joint? Very Jimmy! So funny that he also gets to work in the kitchen baking bread.
I’m going to miss the slow burn of this show. And the beautiful foreshadowing that you don’t see coming. The genius writers…love them.
Also - my husband pointed out how much “Gene” looked like Mike Ditka. I cracked up because Bob Odenkirk is from the Chicago area. Even wrote those SNL Bears fan sketches (I think he may have been in one). No way was the not intentional. I need to Google to see if that sweater was navy and orange
