Black Panther - Solid 8/10

The women in this film stole the show, as far as I'm concerned.

The Breadwinner (2017) - A headstrong young girl in Afghanistan disguises herself as a boy in order to provide for her family.

Director Nora Twomey previously worked on the animated films, Song of the Sea and The Secret of Kells, both of which I loved. The animation here is more conventional and the story is more contemporary--and heavy in an almost Grave of the Fireflies-kind of way. 8/10

Coco 9/10

Someone was cutting some onions in the room during some scenes which cost this movie 1 point.
What a beautiful story. Pixar does it again.

DREDD - 10/10

There are few movies I’d say I wouldn’t change a thing. This is one of them. Perfectly executed. I never tire of watching this.
