Comic-Con loves the Shiflett Bros...

From the Comic-Con Exhibitor Newsletter-

Also look for our booth in The Fantasy Illustrators Area in 4621, and our sculptin' panel upstairs.

and we love Comic-Con!

You should all come to our 'How To' Sculpting Panel in the new bigger rooms! Comic-Con!!!
Comic-Con can obviously get anyone they want so we are very happy to be asked to participate in the line up.
This will be our 3rd panel at Comic-Con, the first two Shiflett Brothers and Friends are online and include SPIDERZERO, Jordu Schell, Paul Komoda, Barsom, Clayburn Moore and us, and they are on YouTube.

and look of our booth in the Fantasy Illustrator's Area in 4621

Friday:

10:00-11:30 Comic-Con How-To: Live Figure Sculpting with Brandon andJ
Jarrod Shiflett. The Shiflett Brothers started their professional
sculpting careers began with their maquette work on the hit video game
"Oddworld: Abe's Odysee" working alongside visionary video game
creator Lorne Lanning. For Glenn Danzig's Verotik comics The Brothers
sculpted the Jaguar God, Satanika, and Dalkiel resin kits all based on
the artwork of Simon Bisley. Their first work to be produced in
coldcast porcelain pre-paint statue form was the Draco from
Dragonheart statue for Moore Creations. Soon followed the prepaint
statue of David Mack's award-winning comic book creation Kabuki, also
for Moore Creations. The Shifletts have worked on several action
figures including Marc Silvestri's Darkness and Lord Tyler from Heavy
Metal's FAKK 2, both with Clay Moore and Moore Action Collectibles.

Yes Spielberg came to Comic-Con for the first time. Yes he pulled a fan from the crowd, and yes the fan started to weep as they embraced. Comic-Con does not bury a lead! Shiflett Bros on stage!
