New Captain America Jam begins.

I recently commissioned artist David Rivera to do the layouts for a new project: a Captain America Jam that includes nearly 20 different villains that Cap has faced through the years. I know it's nearly impossible to see the different characters, but I have The Red Skull, Dr. Arnim Zola, Batroc the Leaper, the Barons Zemo, Taskmaster, HYDRA, Baron Von Strucker, AIM, MODOK, Crossbones, the 5 different Sleepers, and even The Winter Soldier represented. My goal is to get different artists to do different elements of the piece, not necessarily just one character. One artist might fill in the Barons Zemo (though I think they'd look better done by different artists), another might do the first three Sleepers since they're together in the piece, another may do AIM and MODOK, etc.

All I have to do is figure out who I want to do the different characters then contact that artist. Since I don't attend many conventions, this will probably be a mostly by mail jam unless I get really lucky.

On my artist want list for this jam are definitely the following:
Steve McNiven for The Winter Soldier
Steve Epting for The Red Skull
Ron Lim for Crossbones


Now I just need to figure out how to contact the first two.

For Steve you could try to contact him via Facebook but like him and Mcniven your best bet is at a show to be honest.

I haven't posted anything on this project in a while because, frankly, nothing had been done. However, with the help of a great guy, I've been able to get my first name on my "MUST HAVE" list done. It's in pencil because the artist doesn't work with inks. That's ok because I can find an inker with no trouble.

With no further ado, I give you my first name scratched off the list, Ron Lim with his version (and the best version to be done by an artist imo) of Crossbones.



My thanks to Drew because without his help in actually taking the art to the show to get it for me, I would have never gotten this particular sketch done.

Also, because the piece is just layouts at this point, I am thinking of making a change or two with a couple of the characters. I'm thinking of removing the 4th Sleeper from the lower right corner and putting Baron Blood in it's place and then changing the 5th Sleeper's head in the upper left corner to the 4th Sleeper' head instead.
