Scale Issues

Hi Guys!!

So .. i am in the middle of producing a statue for a
client in a Premium format. ( using cloth for outfit )

Although the results of having real cloth grace the
sculpt are good with the textures and folds forming
and flowing naturally, It always seems a bit off
in my opinion , this is due the the thickness of the
cloth it self. and the weaving of the cloth that just
seems .. well.. action-figureish. in oppose to
looking like a well sculpted finished product.

Although Hot-toys seems to be getting better at it ,
they obviously cannot fix this problem due the
the mass production factor.

Also there is an issue with the sewing that seems
to look like it was sewn by giants for a midget.

This is why [ in my opinion ] sculpted cloths always
ALWAYS [ when done properly ] look better than
real cloths. [ on sculpts ]

My question is , has anyone tried to address this
issue? If i were to use really fine threaded cloths
like silk or 1400 thread-count materials, would it
help?

Any input is much appreciated.
