Can't fit statue onto base, PLEASE HELP

I just got the DC Collectibles Wonder Woman Bombshells Holiday statue. When I tried putting her on the base the pegs in her feet do not quite lineup with the holes in the base. I'm afraid I'll break her if I try and force it.

Any suggestions or tips would be great.

Drill out the hole some to give more room to the peg.

If too much is given, layer tissues or something one by one until it helps fill the gap.

My Bruce Lee's pegs in the feet did not line up well with the base, so I did this, fits/stands fine now.

Warm it. Use a space heater. Let it sit for 10 minutes or so. If there are delicate parts that look thing block them from the heat.

I've used this on every statue and it has worked every time.
