Don't, I've always said would never own a cloth cape but on this statue it really works well. Also..this statue is Awesome! Can't stop looking at it.

I really hated cloth in general on statues (like the old wolverine/sabertooth pf) but since we got in hand pics this has changed my mind. I think its because its such a high quality cape and the poses I've seen so far have been great. I'm starting to sway towards cloth capes if they live up to this standard. (Capes only, I don't want any more cloth body suits)

Yea if this had a fully sculpted cape it would have been a nightmare to display. Also it would never had fit in a Detolf either..

Wow just got mine (after missing my package on friday and having to wait until today to pick it up) and this thing is an absolute beast. First off I know price was such a huge issue within the community when it was announced but this is literally twice the statue the new Wolverine PF is (which I also love). The size of the base along with all the little trinkets and the physical size of magneto, he's pretty much twice the bulk. Both head sculpts are on point and very high quality (paint job, sculpt etc) and the magnets that hold them in place are way better quality than the Wolverine ones for whatever reason (insert Magneto joke). The paint job in general is stellar. The second biggest talking point has been the fabric cape. Well this is my first fabric cape statue and I have to say I love it. At first I couldn't find a pose I liked but once I got the hang of it you can really make this thing look great (the trick is to have everything flowing without any pointy edges). And the pose-ability is so nice, you can really shape it in any way you want. My only complaint would be they went overboard with the amount of spikes and other little things on the base. It could/should have been much simpler but I do see what they were going for, but again unnecessary in the grand scheme of things. It's a 9/10 without a doubt and would have been a 10/10 if they didn't make me pay extra for those spikes that weren't needed. I'll take some pics when its day time so I can get some better lightning. Overall this is one of the best statues I've ever owned and a highly recommended piece. Don't let the price scare you, you are getting what you pay for.

So like I said in the Batwoman thread, we finally got an almost cloudless sky this morning near Paris, so I took the opportunity to take some Iphone pictures of this beast to complete my previous review.

Just for your information, it fits perfectly in a besta, but be aware for those of you who have glass doors, the statue is too high and you will have to lower the shelf slightly below the bottom of the door. It slightly interfers with the sentinel head, but its not that disturbing, especially if you can open the door when you want to admire him (Sorry if it wasn't very clear or if I was too convoluted but it was hard for me to translate what was in my mind from french to english )

As you can see in the pictures, I choose to pair Magneto with his daughter Wanda, I am very happy with this display, they match very well together as they look in the same direction, with action pose and obviously the family ties (I'm in a full denial concerning the last Marvel comics decisions )

Hope you will enjoy the pictures
