Do we expect to see this guy make an appearance at any upcoming conventions?

I'm betting we'll see it at SDCC this summer.

I'm looking forward to "real" people getting to see him and explain how awesome he is in person. It will make me all the more excited!

I'm sure they'll have the proto at the cons. I'm hoping he's in NY in Oct. Would love to see him first hand.

Has sdcc gone yet? If not when is it? I don't remembered seeing the new products for this event this year yet. Hope we get pics of this goblin king, and a Harbottle x-23, big barda, omega red, storm, rogue, psylocke, and anything else this guy can do! He's like the guy who can guarantee a product that everyone will
Love. How insane is that? Great crazy poses, beautiful portraits, and top of the line art! Go Will!!!

I am sure it will be there and likely the EX as they have thousands of these beauties to move and need the exposure to move those 3500 regs. I hope more importantly that it is beside some other new releases for scale and not alone in its own case, There has still never been a pic with a big dude statue, always little statues to make him look big so here's hoping for a display in New York that will answer many questions. Thanos is a must at New York!

That would be a silly comparison because there are obviously more factors than that.
Actually the comparison is bang on and cant be compared to movies with different budgets, Gladiator came out for pre order WITH Batman PF up for sale the same month years back, we do know that Gladiator cost about the same as Thanos to produce as the with observation is a no brainer. Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman both came out back then as well and are all for sale on Sideshow site for $450 which is only $50 more than 5 years ago and they are waiting for more batches of those to be made in China so the cost of production has not gone up much at all, SO Gladiator today would be no more than $700 which means all the money over $799 for Thanos is "lets see if they will pay it" price and not what it should cost. That is fine, charge whatever you want. But dont call it justified when it is clearly not. Great overpriced statue and that is how life goes, live in reality and be happy to overpay, dont con yourself that Sideshow had to charge more than $900.
