Was actually looking for something else IS related and stumbled across these larger, higher res pics. Looks to be posted by the sculptor.

Lot of activity over on the P1 Superman thread. Don't want to rain on their parade over there so I'm over here. So glad I have this IS version on order. Every time I look at the pics I like it more. Every time I look at the P1 I like it less. Don't get me wrong, I think P1 did a great job, I just don't like the style. I get the appeal of the classic costume but to me that's all it has going for it. When I look at the IS I see Superman, despite the costume tweaks. When I look at the P1 I don't see Superman, despite the classic costume. Weird I know. Seems I'm in the minority on this, and that's OK. I'm glad we have both to choose from. Plus, if it stays on schedule, I'll have mine a year earlier!

The heat vision portrait looks like he's wearing some sort of funky red sunglasses....

Why Clark Kent could not be just a little bit funky?
I do rather prefer this Superman than Prime 1 Supes . I prefer everything, in fact. The base, the pose, and the heads. The heads because they are less « comics like » and well proportionned.
And maybe because I’m an ignorant, I don’t really care about the costume. Classic, not classic... He is wearing an elegant costume. Like Clark is supposed to wear one.

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

I really like those pictures. The belt loops were the only thing holding me back on this piece, but they’re starting to bother me less.

I don’t understand how this and the Prime 1 Hush Superman went up for sale around the same time, but Prime 1’s won’t ship for nearly a year after this guy.

There is alot to like about this. Just for me the P1 Hush superman wins out. If I didn't already have some money and space issues I might get both. I do think the heat vision here could use some work. But thats just my 2 cents.

I don't think anyone would disagree about that. The suit is where most people are turned off.

Funny enough my issue was the base. I found the spikes too jarring. Had to go with the prime 1 myself as well.
