Rotating display base I recommend.

I have two of the $34.99 and really happy with them.
They can take quite a bit of weight, pretty quiet and can turn either way by toggling the power supply switch.
They are mostly white but could be painted all black which I plan to do. Gentle fixed RPM.
If you have a large base on a statue you may need to put something to expand the base out but at the price and quality I am very happy.

thanks - that is good reference. Does it have variable rotation speed? Any videos of your displays with these?

I didn't see a way to adjust RPM externally straight away, I'll look it over again and report back if I find a way.
