Yeah. I'm really trying to hold out on the X-Men, focusing only on the Avengers in case XM surprises us with a DC license. But God all mighty Magneto, Wolverine and Phoenix are making it hard to do.

Random question about Wolverine that I've always wondered about.

Why is his costume blue and yellow? I don't recall that matching any team when he first appeared.

Was it a tip-of-the-hat to the Univsersity of Michigan? I mean, I like to think so because they are my NCAA team

They didn't really have a "team" colour when he joined up:



He was also blue and yellow in his first appearance:



Your question should be why did his costume ever go brown and yellow...
