Not a big difference in $ getting it through SS.

But if you don't need the Ex, you don't need to go through SS to get it, and that opens up a lot more opportunities to save some money- even if that amounts to something like $4 shipping from BBTS or better rewards points from someone like AE.

Not geting an Ex also gives you a little more time to push off the purchase to some future point where you're more budget comfortable.

Given the edition size you'll be able to pickup the regular version cheap down the road if your willing to wait several months...

I just saw on Ebay the Original Wonder Woman PF Exclusive sell for $147.50 (Auction, although shipping was $120, still $267.50 shipped for an EX is a pretty sweet deal), the statue was in mint condition too... Just shows you these statues with really high edition sizes just don't hold their value down the road..

She devil with a sword is holding value pretty well.

She's 4500 compared to Wolverines 6500.... plus she's 3/4's naked...

The way I look at it..

1-1000: Low Edition Size
1000-2500 Med Edition Size
2500-5000 High Edition Size
anything over 5000 is Very High Edition size, these statues especially seem to have problems holding their value after a year or two because the aftermarket becomes flooded with them. Of course popularity of the character and statue can affect it's value but when your able to go on Ebay years later and still see lots of them up for sale that usually not a good sign unless your a buyer

The EX unmasked head is the best version of this I have yet to see. I know people don't like the EX or fail thing but for me this qualifies. I have several Wolverines and this one is a must to be displayed unmasked.

Maybe if you have several Wolverines, but for me, I'd never display a Wolverine piece unmasked.

I find myself switching out the portrait on this piece every few weeks. Both are excellent.

thats the only reason i will be displaying mine, if i had only one or maybe even two wolverines it would be masked all day

Unmasked for me too. My other 3 Wolverines are all masked.
