(This is not a complaint, as these circumstances are favorable for me). That being said, I really find it remarkable that both the variant and regular are still available. The variant is limited to 85! I think it’s a beautiful piece, and was absolutely thrilled to add it to the collection, but I’m left scratching my head as to why I was able to when I didn’t even realize it was available until hours after the drop?

The bubble has burst for the poster/print collecting market much the same way we’ve seen with statues. Too many releases from too many artists covering the same iconic/cult following films doesn’t help. The fact that VK’s ALIEN print is still available has less to do with how great it is and more to do with how heavily this particular film has been covered.

Not trying to start a Vance Kelly fan club here, although if there isn’t one, there should be (my opinion) I’m just curious as to why he doesn’t get the love? When I look through my favorite screen prints, his are among them.

I’d love to know as well. He’s easily one of my favorite artists in the biz. His style just suits my tastes.

If that’s the case, and I suspect your right, it’s a dam shame. I have to admit, I was starting to be concerned that I have about a hundred posters that cover approximately 10 subjects. My ratios might be slightly off, but I do have a ton of Star Wars, alien, back to the future, ghostbusters and marvel.

I just love the art direction on PCC’s BTAS line of prints. They capture the essence of the series so beautifully. I’d love to have all of them framed on my wall but sadly I have neither the funds nor the wall space to do something like that.
