I love both of these, but agree you have to be careful how you set up Starfire as she is the least stable piece I've ever owned.

I'd be interested in the Starfire re-release if the engineering problems are fixed. That said, I'm still more interested in Tweeterhead's proposed Starfire.
Crossing all those bridges when we get to them.

She is fine if left alone, but any bump to the display area (shelf, table, etc.) and she is 50/50 to either stand or fall.
It really would be resolved if she was attached to a standard base other bishoujo use.

I'm glad they are re-releasing Starfire. Hopefully her paint up is a little different as well to differentiate her. (maybe her skin can be more orange/gold or she can have a more metallic finish?)

Ah, gotcha. Although bumps in my office are rare, it still could happen and I don't like those 50/50 odds lol.

Yeah, I always figure plan on her falling so set her up if she does it is just over and not a drop that could cause her to break.
