So then why even buy a character from the 80s?

My question for everyone now is, if they do push out a Cheetara quickly and it is a knockout, does that save the line for you or is it all just dead with Lion-O?

The line would be saved for me, just because lion o isn't the best doesn't mean the whole line will suck.

All of them didn't look stupid and the modernized versions can for me capture the essence of the character/ story without looking ridiculous.

I think the only reason it was thought that the line would stop at Lion-O is because if Lion-O doesn't sell well then SSC would stop the line.
But if SSC releases a kickass Cheetara after Lion-O, then I'd assume SSC is proceeding with the line. And I'd buy a kickass Cheetara ...no doubt.

I couldn't agree more.
I bought these a couple of years ago, and I am fully satisfied. I just wish they had kept the line going ...

Damn ...those are nice!
Why couldn't we just get 1/4 scale versions of those?!

Just out of curiosity who didn't look stupid to you?
Panthro in his briefs? Tygra in his onesie? Or Cheetara in her leotard?
