It could be pricing is based on what they think they will do Edition Size wise, as XM pointed out in one of their posts that factories charge more for smaller edition sizes..

dammit, I want this piece. But 1k+ is a bit too much for me with the taxes and shipping here. And we bit%& and moan when Sideshow's PF's are in the 6 and 7 hundreds range :/

This just might be my next XM piece ..Ms Marvel being my only other XM piece.
The shipping + import charge would mean holding off buying (for example) 1x Sideshow 1/4 piece

It's because you never know what you're going to get with Sideshow. POing thru them is always a big gamble. If they were ever consistent with putting out high quality pieces that weren't plagued with issues, people wouldn't ----- anywhere near as much.

I agree 100%. With other companies like XM and Prime 1, I feel excitement when I open the box. With Sideshow, I feel anxiety and cross my fingers that I don't have to deal with getting a replacement.

The recent Sideshow Harley Quinn 1/4 PF left me wondering.. felt slightly ripped off.
For sure, no more pre ordering until the in hand photo's appear. That's the new rule for Sideshow pieces. Even then, there's a gamble on what will be in the box? ..wonky eye's etc.

So far I've been lucky with Sideshow, really don't have much to complain, but I haven't been collecting as long as you or some other folks here, and i do understand the frustration. Still, it's a big difference with prices between XM and SSC. Would we be willing to pay 1100-1200$ for Sideshow pieces if you'd be guaranteed XMs QC?

But that's a topic for another thread I guess. Wanda looks spectacular, home run with this one for sure.
