Since Tweeterhead is taking over, will future releases be announced in this thread or on the Tweeterhead section?

It's not a take over, it's in conjunction with as far as I know.

I take "in conjunction" to be that Tweeterhead is doing the sculpts based on Sideshow quick design layouts and character choices. Then distributed through SS for the EX options etc.
But I don't really know, just my guess. As long as I can use points to get the EX - and the line keeps going - I'm cool

Well I know Matt Black has done most of the sculpting (3/5 of the statues) and he works for Both Sideshow and Tweeterhead. So it could be Sideshow Designs and Sculpting done by both teams depending upon workload (Tweeterhead seems to be full steam ahead on their Superpowers line as well) and Distribution by Sideshow.
But I'm basing all that on conjecture as well, so I guess we'll see.

I want this so bad. I never thought I'd think that about Orko.

Is it just me that thinks Orko is a tad too big next to He-Man?
In any case, I'm passing on Orko. Thought it would be a better play to save the funds for the next character coming in this line.

I agree. Love the idea of the spell book with the Easter eggs!
