I know there are quite a few inaccuracies with this Rex, but if they just fix the excessive wrinkles issue and move the eyes so that she is actually looking at Grant, I think any JP fan would be proud to have this in their collection. Obviously the more accurate the better, but having a JP dinosaur actually interacting with or in the presence of modern man and technology is what will give any collectible that distinctive Jurassic Park quality. Otherwise it's just a dino statue, IMO.

Perhaps they think it wouldn't look that good if Rexy would be staring downwards for the people who will only be buying her?

There are assets from Jurassic World, but the rex is very different in that film. We worked closely with ILM and Amblin doing countless overlays and getting advice from the two companies.
While the final paint may not be where I wanted it, the overall look captures that scene perfectly I believe and our fence, dinosaur and details are pretty darn close.
Personally I like the IS piece and we have a big announcement coming soon regarding distribution in the USA.

Just saw the Fallen Kingdom trailer. This T-Rex is heavily referenced from the ILM CG model for sure, including the exaggerated open mouth...which is not how it should be done.
We are basically looking at a JW full CG T-Rex mixed with the og JP element. The whole thing is still very impressive but it missed the mark on bring that original look back. Oh well, at least CC has the good old 1/5 made. Only the Explorer and figures for me.

So how is this going to be sold? One huge diorama?
Ian and Grant look like stand alone pieces you can buy separate. Do you buy all individual pieces and assemble the diorama yourself?
