Wow maybe I am coming off probably the best finale of a TV series I have ever seen but I think I can only describe this hilarious tv series in one word "Sincere".

Grimm Seasons 1-6 8/10 took me awhile but finally got through all six seasons on Amazon. Only saw a few episodes when it was airing on tv but watching the series from start to finish was good. It was a fun show.

HBO 2 has been playing a Sopranos marathon the past few days. Seen it in it's entirely a few times

Sopranos 1-6. 10/10. The greatest imo. The template for all shows to follow.

The Last Kingdom. 8/10. Gem of series. If you like GOT or Vikings this is right up your alley.

Mayans M.C. - 7/10

Not exactly what I was expecting from this Sons of Anarchy spin off. While SoA was a look into the dark underbelly of a SoCal motorcycle gang Mayans is more of a look into the criminal underworld of the Mexican drug cartels. I guess in terms of originality this is a good thing as it’s not just a racial retread but with this comes less emphasis on the M.C. itself and to me that hurts the series a bit. While the overarching narrative is engaging I found the cartel characters far less interesting than those in the M.C. that aren’t developed even half as much. While not on the same level as SoA it has some cool ties to that series and has enough going for it that’s it’s certainly worth a look.
