Does the costume look more primary red in the out-of-box, or is the lighting just much brighter?

Hmm. That's a much different red. Red-orange almost. 
Hopefully just the lighting.

Come on guys look at the lighting on both pics lol, the out of the box is obviously hit with harsh lights....look at the 40 second mark on the video....
I think it looks great!
