Freaking Paint wont come off!

I am trying to repaint an Aquaman Maquette and I am having trouble getting the paint off.

I let it sit in a bag full of the stuff for 24hrs and very little of the paint came off as a result (only the metallics and very little green/yellow).

Any other suggestions?

Though, I have to say I am impressed with the staying power of this paint.

Thanks

I'm using a Uk equivalent of Easy Off to strip my Modern Iron Man Comiqette. I have made 4 applications so far and man it's a very long process. Like you I've left it on over night wrapped up in a bag.

Some parts are coming off easily, other not so. Just gotta plug away at it. There are more powerful solutions that you can use, but they'll probably just eat away at the resin.

I am using Easy Off too (should have mentioned that earlier).

OK, I guess I need to do a few more applications.

Thanks.

I usually use Acetone. You need to wear a mask and
gloves while working with this stuff....it's very toxic.
But it literally melts the paint off in minutes.
I do recommend a full face chemical respirator,
make sure you keep your eyes protected as well.

I usually put about 1/2 gallon into a 5 gallon bucket
with the piece in the bucket while I pour the acetone in.
Then using a old toothbrush and a rag, I would dip
and scrub the piece clean. Some pieces come clean in
like 5-10 minutes...others may take 20-30 minutes.
Do not let your piece soak in this stuff...simply dip
and scrub...over and over until the piece is clean.

I've used acetone too. Just make sure you don't soak the piece in it for long periods of time. It will eat the polystone. It will also eat away apoxy sculpt.
