I picked up the Bowen Classic Dr. Doom statue (the new one) the other day and the paint job on it is really, really sharp. The only issue I have is the black "weathering" around some of the bolts on the facemask is a little heavy on the one side of the face.
(Crappy picture, as you can hardly see what I mean, but the area over Doom's left eye)
It's not a big issue, but I was wondering if there was an easy way I can wipe the weathering off, like with rubbing alcohol on a Q-tip? Will this affect the shine of the silver paint? Does anyone have any experience with this on a Bowen statue?
Thanks in advance…
