was on the fence with this piece for a while but finally decided to go with the 90's jim lee look for cyclops. YES its overdone and YES cyclops has had some great looks over the years but i decided i want to assemble a 90's team display eventually so this just fit the bill
i think im probably the only person who prefers the calm portrait to the screaming but to me it just fits the character and display better. only thing i dont really like is the paint on the base, i really dont like the "heat effect" at all and will repaint it at some point to just get rid of it
sculpt - 9/10
pose - 8/10
design - 9/10
paint - 8/10

thanks guys, been a really good year for statues. finally getting them out of the boxes and on display, some really great acquisitions - its made 2020 much more tolerable

I absolutely would not be collecting or on this forum if it weren't for the pandemic. Gotta do something to liven up the house.
