2018 Anders Ehrenborg Mandy statue

New Anders statue Dean Yeagle'd Mandy coming in 2018. Make sure to get on the mailing list. For something taking this long since the first one, I am surprised at how much reuse there is in the Mandy sculpt.

I have both of the first ones and if I recall the “common” was 200 and the “rare” one was 250. I’d have to check my records to be sure but it’s in that range. These are now selling in the secondary market for over $1000. They are too cute for words.

A couple years ago when I talked with Dean at Wondercon, he said it would be larger, maybe 1/4 scale. Being a digital sculpt, the final scale could be any size. We’ll have to just wait and see.

Although these are still the images on mandystatues.com, they are no longer going to be the ones we make. Anders considered this as a variant of the previous pose, with the addition of Skoots, but we were also discussing an entirely new pose, with three variants, including one with a very special base (can't tell you yet). So we've decided to just do the new one(s). We're still making tweaks to the virtual sculptures, and when that's complete Anders will put the new images up on the website.
So sign up for the updates at the site, and as things progress, you'll be informed.

Awesome man. Great to hear you guys care enough to do all new sculpts.

That’s cool. Looking forward to seeing the new concept .
