I've been saying this for a while.

NOTE: Unless Randy comes back to continue the line.

There is still hope. I have been noticing a close friend of Randy's is selling a lot of the old statues and prototypes on eBay. On each of the end listings he has been posting this lately:

"Bowen Designs is gone. Randy will be back though! He's working with some major companies to get back in the saddle making your FAVORITE Marvel superheroes. These are the LAST of what was Bowen Designs. As a friend of Randy's, I'm glad to know he'll be back. As a FAN of Randy's? I'm VERY glad to know he's coming back :-)"

So while Bowen Designs is gone it seems like Randy may be resurrecting his line through another distributor.

Here is a link to a completed auction that shows this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Falcon-Faux-...cAAOSwUKxYdD1-

There was a rumor going around recently that he and Erick Sosa would be working together. Now it would be Randy sculpting for Erick's company. This should be taken with a grain of salt, but that's what I heard.

I've heard all of the above as well and sincerely hope we get a new 1/6 focused company. Between Bowen and Sosa I would have high hopes and I think they would deliver.

This has the potential to be amazing. If Sosa got the license to do Marvel pieces in 1/7 -1/6 scale, with Randy working with him..

IMO, don't think it would work. They both have their style and I don't think one could take direction from the other easily.

People who can't take direction don't usually get hired and re-hired by companies to do work. They definitely have different styles, but I feel that Sosa was able to convey the Bowen style when he sculpted for them. I don't see why Randy couldn't do the same, if he's sculpting for Sosa. It's been hinted and rumored that Randy would be doing work for other companies. If that's the case I'm sure he's willing to make his sculpts fit with what the company offers, he is a professional after all. Having said all of this if you're hiring Randy Bowen to sculpt for you, you probably want a Randy Bowen sculpt. You might let him know what you want but the sculpt will be his, otherwise what's the point.

Let's just wait and see if any of this pans out.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

I'm tired of these rumors. Although they sound great. This seems to be wishful thinking. Damn teases!!!!!
