Perhaps Princess of Mars also falls within the trademarked realm when paired with Dejah’s image.

I would be suing the sh!t outta SS. I can’t imagine her exact image is allowed to be used with a changed name on such a huge scale.

I wouldn't care what it said. It could say "TURD." i rarely look at the bottom of the base. I look at it for 3 second while I am unboxing it and then it goes in my display case, never to be seen again.

Listen I find it odd that after nearly a year they change the name, these legal things can be incredibly complicated, but it's also odd that now people are saying they hope sideshow gets the ---- sued out of them, because if that happens sideshow would probably just cancel the statue, and I want the thing, even if it has another name I dont care

Personally I've been in favor of a "50 years or life of the creator, which ever is longer" system on characters going into the public domain.

Companies or estates generations later strangle IPs and had nothing to do with its creation. Best thing that happened to Sherlock was going public domain so now have several distinct attempts to give that character new life.
