I realize those are close-ups, but that still doesn’t look very good.

I don't understand why there needed to be a neck seam. Couldn't the hair have been a separate piece like the PF?

Yeah, honestly, under normal Lighting and from a normal viewing distance, you wouldn't even see that. I'm good with it, though I wish they would offer a choker that I could use to cover it anyway, because you know... Diana can rock a choker like nobody else (But looking at how high the seam is, the choker would be below it anyway)

Mine is also on pre-order at bbts, which makes me a little nervous because I've been told that bbts is reluctant to take statues back unless they're flat-out broken, and an unsightly neck seam wouldn't qualify for a return. Hopefully tweeterhead themselves would take care of me in that case. I've never needed to call upon tweeterhead for customer service (the only units I have from them are the busts of Teela and She-Ra, and they're both great), but they sound like good people who take care of their customers, so I'm not overly concerned just yet.

Since I'm on a roll, here's another prediction.
With the people that ordered the EX, I'm willing to bet we are going to be seeing more than a few cases of "The head and ___ torso look OK on mine. Isn't a big deal unless you go up really close to it. However when I switch it out for the ____ torso, the seam becomes way too obvious..."
Not taking any delight in being a negative Nancy here. It's just that I feel like I've seen this movie way too many times before. Not necessarily with Tweeterhead, but the story plays out the same way. A lot of sturm und drang coming that would have been avoided with savvier planning before production.

Bothers me more than the neck seam personally and pushes this piece more towards an animated interpretation than I really want.

After watching Chad's video, I'm beginning to think the cause of my gap might be that the hairpiece is not glued perfectly centered, and the bottom of the hair on the left is hitting the top of the shoulder prematurely, thus causing the head not to sit down all the way in the neck. I've contacted him and we are going to try a head swap & see what happens. Stay tuned.
