Supergirl 1/3 Scale Statue

So... went up for order on 12/1 with Prime 1 but still not yet on SideShow's site, usually I thought its within a few days, am curious if its a Prime 1 only distributed statue... hope not, I like these SideShow points...

That would be awful as heard shipping costs are also a lot more directly through Prime 1.

Usually the Prime statues go up on Sideshow's site within a week after Prime puts them on theirs. I don't know what's taking Sideshow so long to put Supergirl up. Hopefully she goes up this week.

It is a bit odd that Prime 1 (Aquaman) Black Manta is already up on SideShow and Prime 1 released that one on their site after Supergirl

I hope Sideshow isn't blocking this somehow. It would no doubt take sales away from their Artgerm Supergirl PF.

I really think stuff like this is inevitable and if anything I'm surprised Sideshow still carries all the P1 stuff.

The more they see them as legitimate competition, the less compelled their going to feel to be their distributor.

It seems like an odd relationship to begin with....I've questioned it for quite a while. Why distribute the items of a company that is a competitor to you? P1 doesn't distribute Sideshow stuff, XM doesn't distribute P1 stuff, Tweeterhead doesn't distribute SS stuff, etc. I guess the revenue Sideshow gets from distributing P1, Tweeterhead, etc statues must be pretty important to them.

It's almost pure profit for Sideshow. From what I heard, Sideshow buys statues from companies like P1 for something like 50-70% of the regular cost. So once Sideshow sells the P1 statues to customers, they pocket the 30-50% as pure profit pretty much.

It must be, there really is no other logical explanation. But I imagine at some point even that will be a decision for them on whether or not it's worth it to carry competitor products that are so close to their own.
