It would probably make the BCS computers spontaneously combust, lol. They don't have a prayer. Even Mike Hart admitted it in a press conf. after the game. They would automatically lose in ranking against any one-loss team and even some two-loss teams that lost to quality opponents would be ranked higher than them. Their only option is to run the table and try to beat OSU to go to the Rose Bowl. And we know they can't beat OSU so they might as well hang their cleats up early.

I completely agree. Unless NCAA ever gets any sense and follows basketball's path for an NCAA Tournament, this is the way it should be.

I don't think you are giving any kudos to Appl. State here. While Michigan sucked it up for sure, Appl. State played one hell of a game.
And no one is giving those athletes any credit at all...

You're right, but its one of those things that wasn't supposed to happen and until now never has. You are right though, lets give App State some credit, two time 1AA defending Champions if I'm not mistaken.
