Anyone know Jason Pearson's commission and sketch rates? He'll be at a small con here and would like to visit/support him.

Thanks!

I thought he was charging like $500 for a full figure piece, I'm not 100% sure on that though, you should try contacting Michael at MGA, he sets up lots of pre-booked pieces for his artists' con pieces. I'd love a Pearson piece too, highly underrated IMO.

That's a bit heavy for me... I may have to settle for just a sketch. Thanks!

He said he takes about 1 hour per sketch and I think they're straight pencil pieces. I saw on CAF today that Michael Alexander from MGA was taking pre-book requests for megacon for EBAS, I wonder if those pieces are his more elaborate copic marker pieces, not sure how much those ones are.

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

That ship has sailed away carlos....only way to get anything from him is by winning the ebay auction. As for the quick sketches he usually posts when he will do them but i'm sure it's the first hr and last hr on sat and sun.

My Harley I got from him is my second most viewed piece and turned out fantastic for the money. He does only do pieces if you can show him proof of your collection or want it in a sketchbook. He won't do any sketch cover pieces at all. He got burned really bad by eBay auctions of stuff he did previously for free so it led to him charging and wanting it to be for real collectors and fans, not art flippers on eBay.

What I know about ECCC 2012 so far:

EBAS: $100, stand in line 1 hour pencil sketches

Tim Sale: Fast Pass (likely 30-45 mins per piece) - $250, but I'm told he will occasionally take on a 2 character piece for $400-$500

Eric Canete: $100-$300 (not sure on the details, and Eric is no longer doing licensed character....refer to the Gary Freidrich thread)

Tony Moore: $200, takes names and requests then picks which ones he wants to do that day, unless you won one of the guaranteed ebay auctions.....which I did

Clay Mann: $400 for a single figure color piece (I'm told you can get background for a little extra)

Ben Templesmith : $350 - 11x17 max 2 characters

As I've never done a fast pass--how do they work. Is it just a line-ride with a different name??

And those are very helpful finds Punisher. Much appreciated.
