Yeah, George, Gabes Marvel portfolio is massive. I was only half kidding about his Marvel work being better, haha. I'm partial to a few Gabe pieces (mostly because they're in my collection) but my non-biased opinion is that Gabe really excels with the cosmic stuff (the surfer....even the strange has shades of that cosmic feel to it), Spider-verse, and The Joker (3 Joker pieces that come to mind by Gabe that are phenomenal...yours included, George).
What I'd really like to see is a self contained Bats/Joker/Harley story completely painted by Gabe (a'la X-Force sex and violence). I really don't think his quality has dropped, I just think he's experimented with a few different styles. His Spidey and Marvel covers over the same time frame (as the later DK3 covers) were pretty phenomenal. The latter DC stuff suffered from what a pal of mine (who shall remain nameless) referred to as "oversnyderization".
