I like Simon Pegg in general, but I just can't come to like him as Scotty as much as I try. I like pretty much all of the cast otherwise however.

Really liked this movie! Not as good as the first two but still, lots of fun. The implied tribute to Nimoy was really touching, too. After the disappointments of BvS, Tarzan and Ghostbusters, really happy this was such a good movie.

Saw this movie last weekend. It's just a good, easy flick. Nothing too deep. I'm not going gaga for it but it was worth spending the money to see it in the theatre.
I do love Bones. Both actors please me.
I'd easily give this an 8/10.

The best is still Wrath of Kahn.

Well that's a worrying line, the first one fair enough. But the second? Bowing out of this thread until I've seen this now anyway.

Without question. Granted I haven't seen Beyond yet but I don't see that taking the top spot for me.

We may have differing opinions. I thought Into Darkness was really good, better than the first film.

The only thing really wrong with Into Darkness was that they tried to re-do WoK. Even if they had named Cumberbatch's character something else it would have made it better in the eyes of many people. Over all it was a great movie though, IMO.
