This is great news. I hope they keep the same animation style. Mako's voicework will be greatly missed though.

This is awesome news! Might be weird without Mako though.

I was wondering if they wouldn't just use old clips of Mako's voice for Aku.He was a true legend, and his voice was unmistakable, but I'd be willing to give a "new Aku" a shot- but he's got to be impressive right out of the gate.

I'm so bloody happy for this news, this cartoon takes me to a special place. Also happy to see I'm not the only one!

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Mako's student, Greg Baldwin, took over for him on Avatar: the Last Airbender and Korra after his passing so I imagine he'll be taking up the mantle with this as well. Apparently he also voiced Aku in a Samurai Jack video game. Haven't played it, but I thought he did a respectable job on the former two shows.

Nonetheless, I'm excited to jump back into this series. Hoping the animation style and overall aesthetic don't change much with the times!

Iroh 2 wasn't nearly as good though, but I suppose he's the best possible choice.
