Looks like "sigh" Kala hasn't lost her baby when she picks up Tarzan from his crib. An odd change to make as I was always a great fan of her initial grief as the motivating factor for adopting the young Greystoke & for her over-protectiveness which got him through his young years.

Wow. Someone else who gets it. Props. I thought I'd be the only one who noticed that. Still, totally stoked for this movie. Looks like they've got a ton of awesome Tarzan canon in there. The friendship with Tantor, the Leopard Men, The Waziri, and, if I'm not mistaken, is that lion supposed to be Jad-Bal-Ja?

Yeah .... I'm a huge fan of ERB's creation. I think I've read all the books & have probably seen every Tarzan movie made. One more teenie, initial complaint after seeing that trailer & I'll stop. Doesn't John Clayton's treehouse seem a little too grand to have been built by hand, in just a year? Seems almost Swiss Family Robinson like. I always imagined the Greystoke cabin being small, one room w/ a fire place & a door that latches from the inside. Huge fan of Christoph Waltz. Really happy he's in this.
Darkni9ht, we're going to have a lot to talk about w/ this one. Hope Kerchek is a bad-a$$!

Trailer looks great except for one really bad CGI ape (the chest thumper). I'm sure it will be corrected. That said, I don't care how many years Tarzan lived in the jungle, a Gorilla is about 5X stronger than a human. So that scene of him swinging into a silverback, unless it was for play, would not result in Tarzan surviving for long.
