Don't you love it when you are the minority?

I never saw Fergully but I saw Dances with Wolves (at least most it as I couldn't stomach the political correctness B.S.). So that what I saw in the regurgitated in the Avatar plot. I guess Avatar is Ferngully and Dances With Wolves through in blender with a sci-fi wrapper.
I only saw Avatar in the theater once. I bought the bluray because I like the visuals and art design. I could say the same for the Star Wars prequels. Love the universe, the visuals and art design, but didn't care for the stories.
As Star Wars fan I saw Ep1 and Ep3 once and Ep2 twice in theaters. Ep2 I saw a second time because I wanted to see it digital projection (which was rare back then). We'll see if Ep7 is good enough to get me to go back second or third time.

It depends on how good it is.... If it turns out to be a hit with both critics and fans then people will probably see this 3-4 times in the theater... if this happens then I would say it has a really good chance to cross the 2 billion mark world wide...
Opening weekend? I say it will pass the 200 million mark...

I just hope it ends up being good enough to warrant the massive dollars its going to make. If the star wars track record is any indication, the first part of each trilogy is usually the least liked, usually

Call me VERY optimistic but Ep.7 will not just break, but shatter records.
With no competition until Feb this will dominate the box office for nearly 2 months.
Opening weekend - 265mil (surpassing JW's record)
Domestic - 1.1b (surpassing Avatar)
International - 2b (surpassing Avatar)
Total of 3.1b.
