In the final scene he is battling Jared P, and he shouts out something when he gets hit, like Arrrgh! But it just sounds like a regular guy's voice.
I think the fight between Freddy and Jason is worth sitting through the rest of the film.

the fight was admittedly fun, but it's always been clear New Line has 0 respect for the Friday Franchise and it showed in that movie. I mean seriously Jason was knocked unconscious with drugs?

Best Sequel: The Dark Knight. If you only ever watch on Batman movie, this has to be it.
Worst Sequel: The Dark Knight Rises. This was truly uninspired, not really at all about Batman and just long and dull.
Best Remake: John carpenter's The Thing. Gotta go with the masses here. Just a stunning, gripping ride.
Worst Remake: FOOTLOOSE!!!! Hands down winner. I mean, seriously. Of all the lameass, useless movies ever made, this has got to be the least deserving of a remake ever conceived. And, hey, while we're at it, let's throw line dancing in to make it even more ridiculous!!

Best sequel: The Empire Strikes Back. (Honorable mention for Terminator 2)
Worst sequel: Strarship Troopers 2, loved the first completely, but this was awful.

Honorable mention - Oldboy

Worse sequel has to be Highlander 2. Did they even watch the first one?

Watched Aliens last night.
What a ride, truly a Classic like the original.
I had a big smile on my face while watching it.

Just saw a preview last night, and I'm pretty certain that the up and coming "Point Break" remake will make this list fairly quickly.
My question/problem with remakes has always been this: Why? If the original film was good, leave it alone for just that reason. It was a good film. If the original film was dodgy or just plain bad, what's the point in redoing it. It was obviously a flawed idea/script to begin with, so a revisit seems like a waste of time to me. Hell, nobody ever tried to remake the Ford Pinto.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Timeless classic. Aliens and T2 were my childhood favorites and they still hold up today.

Good luck filling Swayze and Keanu's shoes. For it's time the movie was great. Indeed, reboot it will flop.
