The producers probably get a lot of money from the product placements to help with that budget. Like all the expensive cars, watches, clothing, drinks, phones, gadgets, electronics, etc. They'll get millions from the product placement which helps a lot.

Besides many block buster movies are making a billion lately.

Felt it could have been trimmed some excess scenes but overall an entertaining movie. Just wasn't a trilled as I had hoped.

Saw this today and as I expected, it was a bit of a letdown after the build up in the series. I didn't like the notion that the villain was connected to Bond, as was alluded to in the trailer, and they did indeed go there. I also did not like the resolution with the villain, it was anti-climactic. Honestly the whole angle with the villain was the problem for me, just did not like how it was handled. The film had some good typical Bond stuff but felt like a step backward in the series.

Man, I forgot Quantum of Solace was a DC Bond film til you reminded me, Bulls. Tell you what I thought of that movie.

Saw Spectre last weekend and I have to say I enjoyed it. As this doesn't have spoilers, I will say that I was not disappointed in the villian (long-time fan). And with that reveal, even if DC does really call it quits , their is another new line of continuity.

Overall, this was a serious step down from Skyfall (my fave DC Bond) and Casino (close second) for several reason. But the biggest is I did not like the "Bond Girl" at all! I would have been happy to have his Mexican and/or Italian lovers be the BGs for the whole movie. Blondie killed me. Ugh. Nothing about her I enjoyed.
