JSC Fairytale Fantasies Evil Queen (SDCC 2022)

No Maleficent as she's Disney specific and this Evil Queen has aspects of Maleficent in her already.

But, we definitely need Snow White now and I'd kill for a Dorothy and Wicked Witch.

I know this has always been an amalgam of the two characters, but I thought he drew Maleficent separate as I have seen the art. Or maybe it was commission….

He drew her as licensed Disney art to sell at the parks. But, Fairytale Fantasies aren't Disney licensed so you'll not see certain trademarked characters like Ursula or Maleficent. Whereas some of the heroines are public domain.

Example - the mermaid was called The Little Mermaid, not Ariel because Ariel is a Disney trademarked character.

We could definitely see Sleeping Beauty at some point, but she may not be called Aurora if that name is a Disney trademark.

Maybe so. I was always hoping he'd add a Sea Witch to the line, but it never happened.
