Liked the film but definitely felt like Godzilla was mistreated. The movie was such a love letter to Kong and he got everything as a result - the emotional moments, the lore moments, the significant final moments. I would have liked a better balance.

The human stuff was terrible but at least the movie moved at a very quick pace and scenes were rarely very long.

I certainly can't think of another giant monster movie I like better, so I can't say you're wrong

Everything, including having his ass handed to him by Godzilla, which many Godzilla fans probably feel balances out the movie, LOL.

They had to placate both fans. My boy won the headliner and then assisted in the 2 on 1 to give Long his moment.

The film knew exactly what it was. If anything could have cut the humans down even more (the whole paranoid guy with the two youngsters plot).

Big thumbs up for Hong Kong and then day time climax, fights were far clearer and easier to follow than KotM.

Make a cool neon city near the coast and expect spectacle destruction (Pacific Rim knew this too).
