I must admit, I'm not 100% thrilled with the color choices when comparing to the prototype. But when looking at this on its own, I think it's the best mass-produced City Hunter statue out there, tied of course with the Infinity version. Both have different strengths and weaknesses, winds up being a wash for me.

I just wish it were closer to what was advertised because the metallics were out of this world. I look forward to receiving mine, but may end up parting with it in time - especially if the Jungle Hunter puts it to shame. We'll see.

EDIT: For those interested, it should be a pretty easy custom job to touch up the lower mandibles, mouth interior, and armor surfaces. A beginner can get a solid fade just by drybrushing, provided they do it lightly and gradually. An experienced customizer could even apply a subtle wash to the whole body and bring out the skin texture. Ideally you wouldn't have to do this on a high-end statue, but it's a far better starting point than Sideshow's $1200 maquette from a few years back.

Yeah I can see it on the photo. I don't see the pink area. Luckily I am a mask guy but it looks sloppy I agree. But this is sadly Prime 1's quality for a while.

Correct, same design.

Here is the Predator2 head out of movie.

I am very happy with the lighter color choice (photo production version). Proto is quite dark due to too much dark varnish (imo made it a bit boring for pred2). Im not worried about the blue-ish wash on the (metallic) armor, think it is due to poor photo and will be better in hand.

I think the blue is meant to recreate the patina in small crevices. The overall armor finish is a little dark and dull for my taste, though. Some shine remains, but I would've liked it to be more prominent.

Two things i noticed, is that on the City Hunter's head in the movie, it has 4 diamond shaped patterns, where as on the P1 unmasked head, it only has 3, and on the movie City Hunter, it's top gum in it's mouth is a fleshy colour, where as the top gum in the P1's unmasked sculpt's mouth is a yellow colour, and the movie City Hunter's head is more of a narrow shape, and the P1's unmasked head is a bit wide.....
