Oh wow, I've never seen that before. Agreed it's very similar to the Kbros one, which is very good.

I love it. I would;'ve been happy with either.

Seeing a pic like this one reminds me of the Bowen SneakPeeks. Miss seeing that type of stuff.

I'm thinking that someone needs to make a new 1/6 Apocalypse. Not too many of those floating around considering the popularity of the character.

The reason why it's so difficult is because MANY producers cannot comprehend the less is more approach. They don't understand that simple, straight forward, right down the middle pose and designs are much better than these elaborate imaginative pieces with over the top poses...that impress for about 45 seconds.

example Sideshow Apocalypse Statue. They were going for something with over the top WOW factor, and it does deliver the WOW factor. But after the first time you see it and saw WOW, it doesn't WOW you after that, at least in my opinion.

Whether we're talking about different mediums of art, home decor, music, vehicles, and articles of clothing....classic & simple NEVER goes out of style. Randy understood this better than anyone and his art direction and choice of (museum) poses hammered this home.

the more i see that Apocalypse John sculpted, the more i want it.

A wip pic is a far cry from a finished product.Randy knows his craft and must of had serious reservations about this sculpt to cancel it and totally abandoned this...not to mention this sculptor only did a few BD sculpts and none of them grails imo.
