This is the first time I have actually seen an ARH statue in a video. When I looked at the videos of the Medusa, Thor, Athena, and the unpainted Valkyrie, my mouth dropped.

I am so amazed at the high quality of these statues, and IMHO can compete with the best that any other company has put out to date.

I only have one complaint, and this has prevented me from purchasing any of the ARH statues, and that is the terrible styrofoam.

I will say, that the video of the unboxing of Medusa definitely helps ease some of the tension of taking it out of the packaging. I sooo wish I had lots of money because I would purchase every single one of the recent statues I mentioned above.

For everyone that has received these statues intact, congrats, you have some awesome art in your possessions.

That is true but on both of those statues they did offer a clothed version that you could order. I generally like that better than the "cast off" option anyway. Like you I didn't think the Pocahontas clothing in particular was very good and it was one of the reasons I didn't order her, although not the only one.

I liked the topless Cleo better because the top looked like a sports bra to me. I would have liked her in maybe a white tunic or something but I'm told that is what they are doing with upcoming Isis so I am happy with the topless Cleo. She seems tastefully done to me.

Back before the 1/4 lines the styrofoam was fine (at least on my Achilles, Leonidas, and Arthur, I got an AP Cleo so just peanuts in the original shipping box on that one) but the styrofoam on my Thor and Athena was just AWFUL. They said they won't be using that styrofoam type on any more of their statues going forward. I hope they don't.

So what do you guys think about how Poseidon God of the sea is coming along? I think the pose is very powerful and intense

I like it, it's like a bad ass Little Mermaid re-envision. All you need now is a mermaid and Sea Witch to go alongside it

I will point out though he looks too stiff holding his trident perfectly vertical. The scale of the dolphins also gives the illusion they're too small, as opposed to Poseidon is really big.

Worthy for a 'God' of the sea.
But I don't have anything with this character.
Atm I'm only looking forward to the ARH Ares (can't buy them all, especially with some big sideshow statues around the corner)
