Maul's has a nice V shape to finish off the torso, otherwise it would just be a continuation of his black hoodie.

The bust stand is just one of those design choices that could be polarizing. I'm not in love with it, but I do love the bust.

I agree that the Maul bust wouldn't be as impactful as Fett with the chest included but for the sake of consistency it would look better. I recently saw a picture someone posted on our Canadian BST FB page of all the life size busts and you have the larger C3PO and Vader and Fett with a short Maul alongside a Gamorean and Bossk head...all different sizes, different bases...they just dont go well together.

I thought they had the same round base design?

Perhaps Sideshow wants to correct that? I noticed that the new Kylo bust is exceptionally tall(29"). Given that Boba Fett is 32" tall, maybe that's the consistency they're going for?

I'm hoping for a new Threepio bust even though I don't need it.

This is how I'd like to display my Darth Maul bust. I wonder if the bust's base platform will allow me to display my sabre? Might be a good idea.

I like the new PF, but the XM Maul is simply amazing! I'd rank it in the top three Star Wars statues of all time; SS Scout Trooper on Speeder Bike, IS Vader and XM Maul.

I think so. Looking at other bases in the line, the platform is perfectly flat. It's like it was meant to hold an acrylic lightsabre stand or something.

For how much they wanted for kylo it should have included the saber! I hope they price maul more reasonably.

The Maul bust was on Sideshow Live today. So freaking awesome! Love the texture to the skin and sinister expression on his face. Can't wait for the PO!
