Retro news... After sitting on the fence for eons I went ahead and ordered the Burnside Batgirl and received it a few days ago. I was a bit apprehensive on several counts. I'm still not a huge fan of this version of Batgirl but the statue (not the book) was growing on me. I had also heard of numerous QC issues, especially head breakage and what not. The deciding factor was price, of course. I got it for just a tick over fifty bucks and nervously awaited to see what condition it arrived in. The shipping box was small with no padding materials nor cushioning and was wedged in there diagonally. I feared the worst but was pleasantly surprised that it was completely undamaged and factory sealed. Whew!

BINGO! You get what you pay for I guess, but as shabby as it was, it somehow got to me unscathed and I'm grateful considering the pre-existing issues with the piece. I'll be very wary in the future though.
