Ame-Comi is short for "American Comics". DC created manga-inspired designs for its female characters. It also published a comics series. This concept inspired the Bombshells and Gotham City Garage lines -- alternate universes where the female characters don't have male analogues (or the male versions were inspired by the females).
There were three types of statues:
Minis (5-inches tall)
Regulars (8- to 10-inches tall)
"Motion" (10- to 12-inches tall) (These are supposed to "bobble" around the waist/hips.)
