Use a heatgun/hairdryer to loosen the adhesive on the decal. Take an x-acto knife to pry up the edge after it hot to the touch. I went from the side first, unfortunately it didn't come up all in one piece. I used my finger nail to get the parts around her abs. I used goo gone and hot soapy water to clean up the residue.
If I had to do it again, I might try a direct heat source like a soldering iron to just melt the plastic off.

I'm not familiar, but would a simple 60w soldering iron do the trick? Any concerns about it damaging the statue?

I'm not sure, I did say it would be a try It took me about 45 minutes with a heat gun and x-acto knife.

Finally cancelled with BBTS and ordered from a seller on eBay I have bought from before. $16 more than BBTS, but 2 weeks after release is long enough to wait on them.
